ROSTERS
Roster Minimum: 14 Players per Team
Roster Maximum: Maximum of 28 players per National Academy League team
Match Day Roster: 18 players per Team per game
ROSTER: A player can only be on one team's roster and play for one team during the Championship
Team Personnel: Minimum of 1 and Maximum of 5 Credentialed Team Personnel in the Technical Area (Including Club provided Physio/Trainer)
CHECK-IN EXPECTATIONS
All teams will be checked in a minimum of 15 minutes prior to their scheduled kick off by a match or tournament official at their designated match field. Only players and staff members listed on the event roster with event credentials will be permitted in the bench/technical area.
EQUIPMENT
The NAL will provide match balls
MATCH LENGTH
U13 = 2 x 35 minute halves, 10 minutes HT
U14 & U15 = 2 x 40 minute halves, 15 minutes HT
U16, U17, U19 = 2 x 45 minute halves, 15 minutes HT
In the event of inclement weather or any other act of god, the event may modify the duration or location of the games and / or take any other actions required to ensure competitive integrity of the event
HEAT / LIGHTNING GUIDELINES
In the event of inclement weather, the Tournament Committee will have the authority to change games as follows:
DISCIPLINE
Red Cards: A red card will follow a player and staff member across all age groups. A player/coach must sit out all remaining games in the same day's fixture where the red card was received, and at minimum must sit out the next game day fixture. The disciplinary committee may impose additional penalties depending on severity and/or repetitiveness of the infractions
Yellow Cards: In the event a player or staff member receives 2 yellow cards in the same match resulting in a red card, the player/staff member must follow the same rules established for a red card.
SUBSTITUTIONS
U13-U19 = Unlimited over 3 moments per half, plus HT. Re-entry is allowed.
Exceptions according to Concussion Protocol
A player who is suspected to have suffered a head injury may be substituted while being evaluated. The substitution for the evaluation of the concussion/head injury will not count against the team's total number of substitution moments in the half.
Teams will be awarded points on the following basis:
In the event of a tie in points at the end of bracket play, the winner for advancement will be determined as follows:
**In the event of a 3 team tie, once one team is eliminated by the process above, the tie breaker moves back to tiebreaker point number 1 and moves through till a winner is determined.
Any game that must identify a winner but ends in a tie (at the end of regulation time) shall proceed directly to a “Penalty shoot-out” to determine the winner (no overtime periods). “Penalty shoot-out” will be governed by the IFAB Laws of the Game. Only the players on the field at the end of regulation are permitted to be chosen to take penalty kicks. Games played in a Group Play / Round-Robin format can end in a tie.

- The team listed as away in Gotsport will wear dark color uniforms
- If there is a conflict, the home team needs to change

HEAT / LIGHTNING GUIDELINES

- Relocate or reschedule any game(s)
- Change the duration of the game(s)
- Cancel any game(s)
- In the event of lightening, an air horn will sound with 3 distinguishable blasts to alert teams and spectators to clear the field and return to their cars for safety. The area must be clear of lightening for 30 minutes before a game can resume play. The tournament committee will communicate with team officials via email and social media on when the games will resume play and the remaining duration of the game.

- If the player is deemed by a QMP to be clear of a concussion, the player may re-enter the match at any stoppage of play and must replace the original substitute; this head injury evaluation will not count as a substitute moment.
- If the player is not cleared to return to play by a QMP, the replacement player will no longer be considered a temporary substitute.

- Three (3) points for each Win
- One (1) point for each Tie
- Zero (0) points for each Loss

- Goal differential in all group matches (total).
