The National Academy League, founded in April 2023, was created to bring together top clubs in a club vs. club environment that supports the development pathway for boys and girls from U13-U19. NAL now has more than 100 clubs, featuring 11 Boys Conferences and 3 Girls Conferences spanning 21 States.

As the league looks ahead to the 2026-2027 season, the National Academy League is excited to announce a new partnership with the Texas Academy League and Desert Academy League. Through this collaboration, boys’ clubs from both leagues will participate in NAL regular season competition, postseason play, and league events, enhancing the league’s national platform and competitive opportunities.

The Texas Academy League inaugural season kicked off in Fall 2024 with six founding clubs: AC River, Capital City Soccer Club, Dallas Hornets, GFI Academy, Houston Rangers, and IDEA Toros and is now at 13 Clubs. Founded in 2026, the Desert Academy League was established to provide a high-level platform for player development and meaningufl competition across the region. The league's founding clubs include: City Utah, Celtic SC, Monarchs, RSL AZ South, RSL AZ North, Sparta SC, and Wasatch SC. The The Texas Academy League and Desert Academy League are both operated by Cobalt Sports.

For the 2026-2027 season, the National Academy League will feature 15 Boys Conferences. Through its partnership with Cobalt Sports, the league will continue aligning standards across the country while fostering a strong environment for clubs, players, and coaches. The continued evolution of the league highlights its commitment to meaningful competition and player development across the country.

The 2026-2027 season will kick off in August 2026. More information can be found at www.nationalacademyleague.com
